Redefining Movement

For so many of us, our lives have been consumed by changing what our bodies look like. The pursuit of the perfect body has been reinforced for decades by the health and beauty industries pushing dangerous messages of diet culture, ideal size/shape, and unhealthy relationships with exercise. In turn, the practice of ‘fitness’ has become intimidating and triggering, producing a disconnect for many between themselves and movement.

 

I created Back in My Body to offer you a new perspective on movement, one that values the connection and relationship with your body and offers the tools to build it. Together we will work to let go of the thoughts of getting ‘in shape’, measuring our health from the outside and suffering through movement.
